An inclusive community club promoting cricket for all ages and skill levels.
The source describes Whitley Bay Cricket Club as founded in 1926, with a mission to create an inclusive environment for all while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
The club operates two Saturday teams, a Sunday friendly side and a Midweek team, with junior teams at Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15.
Cricket should be accessible regardless of age, experience or background.
The club sees itself as a local hub, not simply a place to play matches.
Players are encouraged to develop through coaching, competition and opportunity.
Sportsmanship and a safe, welcoming environment remain central.
The source names Terry O’Sullivan Accountants and Northern Survey among sponsors supporting junior strips and the club community.
